Our story starts in 2008 with the formation of Medical Staffing and continues today. Our mission is to become the supplier of choice for staffing solutions within the Primary Care market in the UK supplying the best talent and solving our clients problems every time.
2008, November
Medical Staffing is formed
It all begins with two brothers forming Medical Staffing in Luton supporting primary care.
2010, June
Locum Staffing is formed
Following the success of Medical Staffing, Locum Staffing is formed to better support our GPs.
2014, October
Celsus Group is formed
Celsus Group is formed to better tie together our entire service offering.
December, 2014, 15,16, 17 and 18
Staffing Agency of the Year
Medical Staffing wins the Staffing agency of the Year award at the General Practice Awards.
2016, February
Key Medical Services is formed
Key Medical Services is formed as our medical service provider and support run a GP surgery in Milton Keynes.
2017, August
111 Lifeline is formed
111 Lifeline is formed to help provide experienced doctors into the NHS and private facilities.
2020, March
Celsus Group purchases TNA Medical
With the purchase of TNA Medical (The Nursing Agency) Celsus Group takes it first step into supporting secondary care.
We move into our new Milton Keynes office
Our secondary care division moves into our new office at Linford Wood Business Park, supporting our expansion.
2020, March
Sullivan Street Partners purchase Celsus Group
Private equity firm Sullivan Street purchases Celsus Group from the original founders. With this comes a wave of new investment and commitment in supporting primary and secondary care.
2020, November
Key Medical Services becomes our Medical Service
With a new look Key Medical Services takes over from Locum Staffing as our Medical Service provider of GPs and Nurses in primary care.
2022, May
We move into our new Luton office
With continued growth we run out of space at Jansel House and move into our new offices at Capability Green in Luton.
2022, August
James Stevenson becomes our CEO
James Stevenson joins Celsus Group as CEO. With over 13 years of experience in the public / healthcare sector and over 27 years of experience within recruitment.
